Title: nit picky resto stuff

So I am attempting a concourse resto on my 66 deluxe bus. I am realizing I don't know nearly what I thought I did about these things so I figure its time to seek help from some of my fellow vw nerds :) So here are my first questions.
- what color did vw use on the inner of there bumpers?
- What color was the front beam and axle tubes from the factory?
- Where the spindles raw cast or painted? If painted what color?
- Same question for tie rods and tie rod ends?

Hope that the wealth of knowledge on this site can answer my questions.
