Adjustable Beam Or Drop Spindles?
« on: May 05, 2005, 08:35:24 PM »
I want to do a front disc conversion on my car but i noticed some kits with only work with stock spindles and some you can use drop spindles. Drop spindles will give me a better ride than an adjustable beam, correct? Also by the looks of it, the kit i can use with drop spindles is more $$. Is the differance in ride quality worth the differance in price.

p.s -  im going by the two prices of the kits from airspeed.
Everything takes time

Adjustable Beam Or Drop Spindles?

I would use both adjusters and spindles. Use the spindles to drop the car, and the adjusters to fine tune it. Drop spindles will give you a stock like ride, whereas adjusters only will result in a more harsh and choppy one. Dropped spindles are money well spent, IMHO.
