2inch Narrowed Ball Joint Beam

Hey I'm just wondering if a 2 inch narrowed balljoint beam will fit in place of the stock one without having to cut my car up?
I haven't looked at it but im pretty sure the 66 came with a balljoint front end correct? Ive installed a narrowed king and link on my old 65 wich didn't require cutting.

A 2\" beam will fit in nicely without having to trim the body.
And yes '66 and later standard beetles came with balljoint beams.
