Rubber Torsion Bushings
« on: February 06, 2007, 06:34:40 PM »
Hey guys,
Just curious if there is a alternative to rubber torsion bushings, other then bronze bushings in adjustable spring plates? Any urethane options? Also will rubber hold up? This is going to be a fat 62 beetle with sound deadening, stereo and  1914 with nitrous. And I'm known for my ability to kill tires and shred treadwear warrentys....
If more power is better. Then too much is just enough.
Why do it once when you can do it thrice?

Urethane is available.
SAW, Bugpack, and EMPI are all radically different in hardness.
If you install urethane, you must install them correctly.  To do so takes a few hours with a grinder.
