Title: My new squareback

My first air cooled adventure. Decades of hot rods,but never a VW. My wife had a few back in the day, and loved them all. I saw some type 3's  at the big show and started looking around for a squareback. Found a real nice un-rusty one on the Island and drove it home. Haven't stopped smiling since. A steep learning curve ahead; everything seems to be done just a bit differently.

Congrats on that sweet Squareback , my favorite out if all the type 3's for sure , great find :)

You just don't see these much anymore. As I saw a beautiful fastback on e sites last week, I got the same feeling with yours. They are looking better all the time..... and, this one looks nice.  Congats and have fun.

busterboy...nice ride, great score...congrats!! can't wait to see you cruising in it this summer!!
