Selling my street bug.
it needs some work , like a master cylinder. there is a crack in the pan but i will include a freshly redone BJ/IRS pan with the purchase. or you could weld it up, but no pan rust, 2 rust spots along the rear fender mounting section, the same spot on both sides of the car. but thats it.

i am selling my car without the turbo EFI/ignition for $5000

the motor and tranny have less than 1000 kilometers of run time.

the tranny was built by Terry H, it has a 4:12 r&p,
snap ring style super diff,
SAW short axles in stock short axle tubes
billet side cover
single side cover splined main shaft
close ratio 3rd gear (i cant remember all the ratios, i will find the paper with the #s)

Underdog racing traction bar
adjustable spring plates
stock short torsion bars
bus snubs
gas adjust shocks
bugpack rear sway bar

airspeed race weight rear fenders
1 peice fiberglass front end with G wagen headlights

12V modern style fuse box, 914 tach, head temp, oil temp and oil pressure gauge..speedo..

this car could be used as parts to make a bad ass sleeper, or you could do some work and turn it into a racer..i will include another pan, i also have a brand new spare set of pistions and cyls balanced by pauter for the motor

i will get some pics up ASAP, this car is being sold with NO TURBO CHARGER system or IGNITION system, this alone cost me well over the asking price of the car, if you are interested in the turbo set up, just say so..and we can talk

$5000 canadian dollars.
Call my cell phone at 778 999 1966
or email me at bugrupt@telus.net
(i have pics that i can send over e mail)
the pic before the paint, the car was running the stock steel fenders, those have been changed

here is an older pic of the car when the front end was being installed..and the stock  metal being chopped off...it dont look like that anymore, the stock tank is in the stock location, but it gives you a clear shot of the beam.

thanks
Cale

It is a good deal, trust me..i have spent WAY more than 5 G on parts for this thing, and i never really have driven it, i made it to burnaby once. that was my longest drive with this motor/tranny/suspension combo

im kinda fixed on the 5G for the car without the turbo, if someone is really interested in the turbo efi system we can talk about it, im basicly open to anything.

if someone wants to buy the car and part it out, great..i dont REALLY want to tear it all apart myself if i dont have 2..

im being honest when i say that if you want to make it a good driver. i would swap all the parts into a stock good shape body.

its not that the body is not in good shape..its just that the front end has been choped off and the 1 peice added..and the rear tin was trimmed for a drag style engine cover, and good stock bodys are a dime a dozen unless your looking for some old vintage.

OR, you could use this car, and make it a racer..or a race style streeter. the choice is yours.

someone take this thing away before i change my mind.
