Title: Help with dual Dellortos and vacuum advance
Post by: Vancity on June 06, 2014, 10:40:46 PM
73 Super Beetle dual port engine in a 65 Single Cab. Dual Dellortos not sure what size or model right now. The distributor is a Bosch JFU 4 with vacuum advance
The carbs both have a plugged off fitting so I'm assuming these are vacuum fittings.

Wondering how to hook up the vacuum lines from the distributor to the carbs if its possible, advice appreciated :)

Yes the hose from the dizzy goes to that plugged off port on the left carb.  ( you only will need to connect it to the one side )

Cheers

Ok cool. I ended up putting a tee in and connecting both sides but haven't even ran it since. Borrowing a timing light tonight and will change that out.

Thanks a lot!
