Then There Is The Brakes!
« on: July 04, 2006, 10:01:00 PM »

OK so I minus well look into the Brakes.

1- Can  I install a 1967 dual  (two lines in) master cylinder on my 1966. Do they have separate systems for the front and back?

2- There is another rear drum braking system from a 1969 type 3, I believe (correct me if I am wrong, very likely) The have a wider shoe and provide more breaking power. I understand  that They can be intalled  Back Plate, and all hardware without any modification.

3- what is the story with front disks? I understand that they are very expensive.

Answer 1:
Yes you just need to figure out how to mount a resevoir for it.

2. I believe so yess.

3. Disc brake kits are 300 bucks but the expenses also should include proper sized tires...
If more power is better. Then too much is just enough.
Why do it once when you can do it thrice?
