Title: Brake Backing Plate

hi    i am putting in new axel seals and took the backing plates off to clean them up. what is good to paint them with. i cant find por 15 anywhere and do i need to use an etching or primer on them first. thanks     murray

did you try lordco? I think there the por15 dealer, thats what I have heard here before.

i phoned every lordco in the book, no one has it, most havent heard of it. what about tremclad?

Russ, a board member, is a powder coater - best protection you can get for them, and fairly reasonable too.

i'm in langley,i do the powdercoating but i did have a little por 15 kicking around somewhere(i would have to find it)

B) Concept Finishes in Richmond on Bridgeport close to Shell definately has it....i just bought some. They also have a location in Surrey somewhere.

Lordco does sell it, you just have to talk to the right guy!
