Title: Electric Choke Solex 34s

I bought a pair of slightly used solex 34s w/ electric chokes. I installed them on my 1641, and I'm having problems getting the engine to run properly. The power increase over the stock carb doesn't seem all that significant either. Anybody out there tried these carbs? I've got lots of experience with Kadrons, and never had any of the problems I'm having with these Solex 34s.
