Could the frame on the back of the vw bend upwards? I cranked down my swing axel a few years ago and I am eating up axle boots, bouncing off the frame. The other option of leaving them up was busting fenders on my baja bug because the tires don't fit under the fenders. Kind of a catch 22 going on here. I changed the axle boot again and this time I had to remove it from the swing axle arm to get the boot on and then replace it and redo the emergency brake cable. Getting to be a pain in the butt. Any advice out there?
