Does anyone have a good working pedal assembly for my 74 ghia? I need it soonaspossible!
 Here is the actual part....

VWC-113-798-071-C -  CLUTCH & BRAKE PEDAL ASSEMBLY - BEETLE 58-79 - GHIA 58-74 - TYPE-3 62-74 - THING 73-74

As you can see it's the same as the one for a beetle so maybe there are lots of them around? Thanks, xcasper, Steve.

there are definite differences between the 58 and 74 year cars.
58 did not even come with a gas pedal (just a roller) i think it was around 60-61 when it actually had a "real" pedal and then the assembly had a extra piece cast on to accommodate the pedal.
