I have been trying to come up with a rollbar that looks good and hopefuly works ......if I ever need it.I am going to post a few pics of it and other related things past and present for your viewing pleasure, :rolleyes: Please feel free to add comments,critisizomes or suggestions.( God I wish I had spell-check ) thay are all apprecaited. Yes please correct my spelling... :lol: The first pic is of a roll bar that came out of a carman ghia that someone made into a offroad vehicle ( bought from a towing yard in NorthVan 15 years ago...............having problems here with pics so they will be seprate to this post :(

Says who... :P Oh by the way the rear pipes are off of a X-TERA roof rack...junk is beautifull :lol: note rear bumper is made up of 34 pieces of pipe all with sleeves in side ( another project from the past )

Is that pipe fitting a weld el? if not and it is cast it will get cracks in it from welding, and may not be weldable at all depending on ability.

Yes it is...........I have used them on ther rear bumper and they are used in my shock mounts as well. I was concerned about the strenth but being sleeved makes it a little stronger. they are gas fittings I think.................ability to weld? I get by :wacko: with a mig, no problems yet and the rear shock mounts have been done for 15 plus years ......

I have one just like it but no mounting hardware.
Oh and looks like you have removed the stock oil cooler?
If so I would highly recomend putting it back in.

Yes is is a bit shorter than most I think . It's been shortened 21 inches . Looks shorter too I think because of the hieght....and in one of the pics the angle.
Yea the left one looks better I have since put 2 on like that and looks much nicer. :D thanks for your vote. :lol:
I made the mount bracket . I will try to get a few pic's of it (I assume thats what you want them of ). It is held on with 2 bolts....is it a "Lang" guard?
I have removed the cooler from the dog house and have another one with a fan.I would like to go back to the dog house type shrouding with stock cooler but with a external one as well. But options and or money say hell it stays like it is.........till I win the lotery . <_< .
