65 parts bus/bus parts
« on: January 03, 2011, 07:04:38 AM »
I bought this as a parts bus but I don't know if I can part this one out. It is missing a lot....basically a rolling shell that needs a bunch of typical welding, but has a lot of prep done already. Has been completely blasted and is in epoxy primer everywhere - was on a rottiserie. cargofloor and rockers have been removed. Comes with about a grand worth of metal (but is the tabco stuff - what was available at the time). It is an original solid roof Westfalia, and is a nice straight bus. I just paid $2500 for it so I need that back if I sell it (3rd time I have bought this same bus - over the last 20 years or so).

["Empiracer" on here has a pretty compete Westy interior for about a $1000].

I may part this out if there is enough interest in parts. I need the nose and rear corners. Anyone in need of bus metal / parts?

Hey Chris , If it comes to parting it out , Id be interested in the mirror arms. Are they the proper arms for the small round mirrors ?

Any chance you have the rectangular interior fresh air cover?
Rear bumper brackets?
Elephant ear mirrors?

I'll take any of the above if available.

Thanks

Have the overhead plate and at least one mirror. I should be able to dig up some bumper brackets for you too. Will pm my number

Have more than what's in the pics. Some good metal and some Tabco, etc..

Funny, and kind of sad. This is her 22 years ago. The girl is cut out of a magazine (my own Hot VW's thing :D)
What's really funny is I showed my dad this picture not too long ago and he said to me "I don't remember Gina ever being at that house".
