Hey guys,
Since I'm doing this all at once.....
Curious as to any cutting or trimming needed to cram in a 2 liter type 1 into a 62 beetle body/ chassis.
-
your going to have to gut the entire rear section, then use baja fenders and a scoop kits especially for a 2liter.
-
umm dont you have to WIDEN the frame horns too Chris?
-
I totally forgot about that, yeah that is absolute must.
-
Oh crap... here we go.
Soon to be endless diatribe about how it is no fair to pull on one genitalia (figuratively speaking).

Is this for a 2007cc? I need to cut somewhere?

Oh ya dood. I just finished all the frame horn and widening of the inner fenders for a customers 2007. It's a huge job man....

Did you not have to push the fire wall back a bit too J? and short axle trans will not work eith you have to go to Long axle or IRS

I am realy green at this.
I was mistaken and since we got a stroker with \"b\" pistons and same size cylinders plus heads (standard), why do i need to cut anything? outside size remains the same. Does it not?
And now what about the trany?
-
I only had to move the firewall 4.5\" man. Really a small job compared to the rest.

Thanks guys for all the help.
Definetly set my mind on doing the mulholland look with a pink metal flake.
I know I will be the envy of all the big boys.
