i agree!

even tho alot of us are familiar with lanny's superb work and fine attention to detail...there are alot of people out there who just dont know what kind of high caliber work is being done. plus a few before/during/after shots really let everyone know what kind of transformation a car has had and how much work has gone in to it (check out 1/2 way down page 1 in the link below)...

http://www.classiccaradventures.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=31

i understand that every job/build cant be documented but a few pics every once & awhile will showcase some of your skills, keep everyone up to speed AND keep your thread at the top of the page too! ;)

Thanks guys; Many people involved in building the car, some of whom I haven't met yet:KROK,Gary Economy,Geoff Peterson,Barry Guscott,Lanney etc. My thanks to all.My sons and I worked on it for years, but it wasn't going to get done at the rate it was going,so I had the body work and paint done by one guy,who buggered it up,took it to another guy,who painted it twice in a nice non-skid finish, then off to Lanny(where it should have gone in the first place)Stripped to bare metal(again)then redone properly and given it's fourth paint job(granada red).2332,Rancho pro street trans,SAW axles,CB fuel injection, four wheel discs,CSP exhaust and lots of other good things.Hopefully I'll finally make it to Great Canadian in 2011.

Yes, Barry has done my painting for nearly four years. He gets to breathe that shit:) Plus, it's all waterborne products these days, getting very tough to get any single stage urethanes:( Barry should have some bus paint pix.

Painter here..... If you want a good, no, excellent, single stage urethane RM was able to keep their UNO line through all the changes. With a small change in solvent they were able to keep it less than the max VOC levels... I have to use it on my 57 as there is no BC/CC formula for L271. I think RM now has the last GOOD urethane Single satge..
Sucks to your assmar.

That's what's on my boat, UNO. It's holding out just fine. At least it's BASF, same parent company as Glasurit.

Oh...RM is not the only ones with good compliant urethane single stage! ;)
Im assumimg you have no sample for your L271 otherwise they should be able to make a waterbourne basecoat formula for you.

Hey Guys,

Like it needs to be said.. Barry fixed the roof on my deluxe and it looks perfect. I had it painted 12 years ago in Glasurit. Barry matched the paint with the new water based stuff and it looks awesome.
