In all seriousness I do have a sale pending financing and the person wishes to remain quite until the sale is complete - they are not from the lower mainland.

Jay to answer your question, they "tagged" the parking lot and parts of the hotel with their stoopid "hoodride" stencil and a can of spraypaint from what i hear, but that's not the reason why I have that as my avatar.
I personally am not a fan of that movement or their so-called ring leader "Dip-shit-derrick" from Kustom Roach Werks. Having a rat-rod is cool and requires a certain amount of imagination, forethought and effort, but a hoodride is just a glorified rusty piece of shit car with a cheesy spray-painted logo on it so they can brag about how hard they roll yo. :rolleyes:  
On second thought, maybe I should "hoodride" my fasty :rolleyes: . Dat way I cud  be coo' and hang wit da hardcore homeez and go 'round markin' up ma hood wit ma spray bomz - WERD! Reprizent tha hood yo!

I guess that's the new trend now but I sure hope it dies off soon though because that shit makes all VW enthusiasts look like punk-ass juvenile honduh drivers.

The reason why I figured the thread would eventually be deleted is because I'm sure one of the snott-nosed little lemmings that follow that dip-shit-derrick guy in all of his hoodride godliness, will soon enough find this thread and report it to their allmighty leader and *BAM* the ensuing bitching and whining will surely follow. Okay I'll pipe in my two cents.  What they did was shitty to say the least.  It comes down to respect and responsibility.  They showed a lack of respect by graffitin' the hotel but as I read it at least they took responsibility for it.  Kinda hard not to when you use THE NAME of the organization.  The real downside of this is that the VW community takes a hit for it.  Ya think the Best Western will be offering up rooms again next year? Uummmmmmmmm  NO!!!  

 STUPID MOVE DIDLO....

On a side bar, by all accounts I would guess that my '64 (Waldo) is a "hoodride" and I Love it.  By next summer he'll be 100% mechanically with only structural steel having been replaced.  He may even accelerate when I hit the gas.  He will however look exactly the same as he does today.  Like my signature says.....

Project Waldo..... rusting nicely.....
