1966 Slammed Beetle
« on: January 17, 2012, 04:04:03 PM »
For Sale: 1966 VW Beetle "Harold"
6 inch narrowed adjustable front beam with drop spindles, notched rear spring plates. Suspension can be adjusted to whatever height you want. 1600cc engine with twin Kadron carbs. Brand new steering box, tie rods, rear shocks, pedal assembly, clutch cable and throttle cable. Brand new 12volt alternator, new exhaust, new clutch, new engine cooling tin. Rare original Hurst shifter. New headliner, new(ish) carpet, seats could use new covers. No heater, we all know that stock VW heaters suck anyways. Easier to put a power invertor in and run a blower heater from walmart...... or just wear a jacket. Flat black paint with custom pinstripes and sign writting. Currently insured. I drive this every day and have no problems at all. Lots of spares.
$3500 OBO..... I need this gone so I can finish building my 57 so don't be scared to make an offer!
I'm new on here and can't figure out how to put pictures up. Click on this link to see pictures.

Nope. I've always said to myself that I wanted $3000 and if I couldn't sell it, I'd be more than happy to keep it.
I can't believe I even went below 3 to you Shane. HAHA. Glad you said no!
So yeah, if anyone wants it, it is $3000 and that it.
Yes, Chris, you should buy it.
Shane, the Star Wars stuff stays with me!
Anybody want to paint my other car for me? I can pay in tattoo's! :tmnt1:

You don't. You leave it here as is, for archival purposes. This is extremely helpful down the road for other users looking to determine value of their car for an insurance claim, potential sale or other such reasons.
