Title: Anyone Use Leaker's Before
Post by: bwaz on April 11, 2006, 03:38:56 PM
Has anyone used Leakers Gas Tank renu-repair in Aldergrove before? I'm thinking of restoring the tank rather than a new, or used one. Don't want to clean it all up and find a leak next year.

Ive used them before. They are expensive. It cost me $300.00. I think por15 makes a gas tank resealer kit. Get a quote before you let them do it or you could be in for a surprise.

Same here, very pricey, when the tank came back is was about 30 lbs. heavier too ( In fairness the tank was very holey to begin with). If you just have a couple of pinholes or loose shit in there sloshing sealer is the answer.
I think industrial plastics and paint is selling the bill hirsch tank sealer kits now. If not I can get aircraft tank sealer but it aint cheap.
