Hi, after some discussions with my vw guru, rustybus, It has been decided that I need an inside rear seat mount from an earlier model ghia, ( I have a '74 ) - that can be cut out and welded into place in my car, so that I can install my back seats. Ok, so it would be two pieces of metal from a frame that has them there, so if that guy that had the free ghia shell is still around that would be good, or whoever got that shell, I guess it would be a 69 frame or something. I honestly don't know what these pieces are called, but I guess you guyz get the idea or whatever. From what Chris explained to me, they hold the back seat backrest in place. Oky Doky? Puleazze fellas, look under your tarpz. -S-

The Ghia's in my garage, and I haven't started cutting, yet.
I can provide whatever you need. Ideally, you and Chris come and have a look at it and we'll mark off the sections you need. I have the seat as well.
