Widened Radars
« on: October 27, 2006, 09:07:56 PM »
Hey guys,
I just picked up a set of 5 inch wide Raders. I'm thinking of getting them widened a bit since I want a bit more \"meat\" out back. I'm just wondering how much I can pull off? The offset is ET20....
Any experience or recommendations?

If more power is better. Then too much is just enough.
Why do it once when you can do it thrice?

You can get them widened to 15X10 and throw on some wide F/G fenders to match

How big of a tire are you going to run? I run 205/65 15's on a 5 inch rim no problem, fills the fender well nice.

Certainly you can add an inch.  That would bring your offset up to 33mm, an easy fit on short axle swing axle.  If you switch to long axle, you could go wider on the wheel.
