Is it advisable or should I get a pair of 6\" rims? (I already have extra 5.5\" ones)

If they are Firestones, the ideal wheel is 1\" narrower than the tire. 6\" slick on a 5\" wheel.
Varying it still works. When Hans was playing with my slicks, he had them on 4

They'll be fine. I used to run the reg 6\" on a 5.5\" Chromie. Worked killer!
