Wheel Tire Sizing..
« on: December 07, 2005, 01:16:56 PM »
Hey Guys,
I'm wanting to put a smaller front tire on my 62 beetle thats lowered. Right now it sits a little low in the back. I don't quite get the tire sizing. I'm running 135-75 R15's right now all around. I've been told what I want to look for is something similar to a smart car tire? I wouldn't mind it being as wide as the stockies if not wider but they need to be a lower profile.. Anybody want to help me out?
If more power is better. Then too much is just enough.
Why do it once when you can do it thrice?

smart car tire that you are looking for, front 145-65-15 rear 175-55-15.
For the front you will want the rear 175-50-15's. We can get them for you $99.95ea reg $130.75ea all season.

Same sizing all around Matt.

Geoff,
When I get a bit more flush after the holidays I'll be ordering some tires!
