Chrome wheels in bc?

is there anyone out in bc that can chrome wheels? i know its totally s**t for the wheels, but a friend back home is wanting it done so i said i would ask!

can and will are two different things.
i am sure they can if they want but anyone i talked to was so over the top for pricing,(if they would even do it) that it was not worth while

How much did they say, Russ?

Part of the reason it costs so much to chrome plate steel wheels is that you must cut the centers out of the hoops before chroming.  Then afterwards, they have to be pressed back together and welded up.  This takes at least 2 shops with their hands in your wallet.

than what about aluminum same kinda deal?

i know he has been at this for awhile trying to find a shop for that exact reason the guys who say they can i wouldnt bring a repop bumper too lol

i needed an alluminu,m wheel rechromed (more work i know)
all but one said no and the guy who said yes was about 1000.00 for a wheel.
meaning he did not want to do it.
i sent it to california and it was about 150.00 bucks i think
