machine long cylinders

does anyone know anyone out here who can handle cutting a long barrel cylinder? its all thats stopping me from building my engine!

I bought mine from DRD and gave him the measurement I wanted.

Local i'd try Kroc ? really anyone with a decent lathe, it's a straight forward machine shop job.

really eh?, i have yet to try anyone out here but i know back in ont the shops i went to all gave me a wtf look, and then said they would have to make new jogs to clap it in and such, i got fed up and stashed em, now im getting the bug to get the killer going, so thought id ask round these parts! thanks dude though i will check around!

Cinncinnatti balancing cuts all mine. They are in pt kells 96 and 193rd area. right on 96 next to alder auto.

I do it too.

Edit: ont58! I don't know where you live. But Josh is correct. Shortening cylinders can be a straight forward job. It will save you lots of money in freight, if you can get your local shop to do a set up like the one in the picture. Simple plugs support the ends of the cylinder.
