Wheel studs/nuts for Porsche wheels
« on: April 02, 2010, 03:37:40 PM »
Hey all. I'm not home for a few months yet but when I do get home I need to replace the crappy empi thread in studs/lugnuts on my bug. The rotors have been predrilled for 5x130 for the gas-burners that are on it. On the rear I've got drilled type-3 hubs with aftermarket  rotors. What length and diameter wheel studs should I be using? And also, I've got the adapter washers for the lugnuts. Is there a lugnut that's a 1-piece as opposed to those washers? Oh, I want to use press in studs all around and depending on my options put the race studs in the back... that's only for the coolness factor though. The rotors and hubs have been threaded for 14mm lug bolts so I'm thinking I'm going to have to drill out the threads and press in the studs. Am I wrong or right?

Every Porsche wheel-nut I've ever bought is 14mm x 1.5...
