Know of a decent cheap driver for a senior? Her golf is done for, and we're on the hunt for a small automatic for her. Thanks

Done, not a VW, but at 86 she can pick and choose and got one of the smaller newish cars out there. Where the hell is the VW Polo or UP in North America? ;)

VW has all kinds of neat vehicles in other markets - the Up, several generations of the Polo, the Crossfox and a decent pickup the Amarok.  What the US wants drives their thinking for N. America and the US doesn't want small.  There are plenty of other offerings out there that are better in many ways. Other manufacturers bring in decent small cars to Canada and not the US. Don't think VW gives a crap about the Cdn market.  My thoughts.
