Old turd
« on: February 23, 2010, 10:39:46 AM »
Just picked up a rail it's kinda short and odd looking .  Just a stumpy cage welded to a beetle tunnel. The worst part is some one mounted a tempo v6 with an auto tranny in the back . It really looks like puss.  I don't think I'll have it done by sping break. Only because the cash flo is tight.  I've put my dirt up for sale on craigslist to generate some cash for this.

The ford v6 is now turffed . I have to now trim off a bunch of pipes and bars used to mount the 6 cyl.

I pulled the plywood floor out . I now  have metal on the drivers side . Passenger side maybe tomorrow

Put the trans axle in yesterday Welded in a shifter mounting plate. Shortened the shifter rod got it work ok.  Mounted the engine after a few runs to avr. and took off all the t3 tin.  No I need to find a gennerater stand and strap and bunch of other tid bits.  Plus I need rear brake drums, and rear wheels and tires just a little fat and taller than stock

Send me a list. I'm quite sure I have a generator stand, and if I've got enough of the rest coming to Squamish won't seem so horrible.

On thanksgiving weekend We took it back out to stave lake. Had a blast and broke a few more things.  Too much fun so we had to get one more . It's a runner I'll get pic's up when the snow clears
