Geoff and I were talking this winter about how there wasn't any Vancouver area shows following the winter season, and he started telling me about the old Bulliboys' Mother's Day show that was in North Vancouver every year. "hey, why don't we start doing that again?"...so here we are.

Mother's Day at Shipbuilder's yard
Open to Volkswagen, Audi & Porsche of any year.

When: Show cars & swap meet entry open at 9:30, show begins at 10:00am. We thought we'd start a little later, allowing those of you with young kids the opportunity to do breakfast with Mom. Then, bring the kids down to the show and give mom a bit of a break to enjoy herself. We're leaving a wide open path for show cars to leave whenever they choose, anticipating that people will want to leave around 1-2pm for Mother's Day festivities.

Entry Fees:
Free to Spectate
$5 per show car.
$20 per swap space. Swap spaces must have a tarp to protect concrete.

Where: Shipbuilder's Yard, North Vancouver. Entrance to the show will be off of Victory Ship Way.

We're really looking forward to bringing this fun low key event back for2013 and the future!
The new location is the perfect place to enjoy some Hot VW's, look thru the swap meet or just take Mom and the family for a brunch at the Pinacle or Lonsdale Quay.

The Pier 7 restaurant is right on the water too, nice brunch from 11-2 with a great view!

and from when my kids were smaller... mothers day was often the time to get the gang out of the house and let Mom have some peace! What better way to give her a break than to bring over the car, and head to the famous "Ball Room" upstairs at the Lonsdale Quay. Steps away from the swap/show at Shipbuilders! Lots of kid friendly food vendors too.

One week today!

I've been getting lot's of emails on this event, It's a first come basis for parking and swap. We should have plenty of room for everyone but try and be there close to the times set above.

If it rains I guess it's a good oppertunity to test my wipers and driving skills with wet slicks
