hey guys, i live in Alberta Canada and own bay window bus (havent discovered name yet).
its a 1973 bus nice rusty orange,westfalia without a pop top.
it was left in a backyard for 4years and i got er cheap! got it running with new fuel lines, filter and flushing out tank. ignition system looks new(ish).
it has a horrible rusted out exhaust system, had to remove alot of the heater system so the fumes wouldnt get me, i am in need of a header and sports muffler system, dont want the heaterbox set up, also thinking of a bigger alternator and second deep cycled battery and possibly electric heating?
otherwise the bus has been a fun project, drives good after fiddling with the choke and carb, also needs lots of little things like tires, lights, shift linkages, few leaks left too, i repaired a few already. :)
