Title: Blower ?

Okay here goes, gonna built a motor was thinking 1915cc or bigger,
i know a blower guy who owes me a favor.  So now i have a 371
blower. thinking 1915, blower and a 390cfm holley?
what do i need to know about rod specs and why do most people not do this?
ive seen in mags the occasional but from what i know the blower motor would pass aircare
if not just turn more air, right? and finally what to do to the heads? ex. stainless steel valves,what size?
superflows?

If you search the web for Dick Landy vw blower you should find all the info you need on the blower set up.
As for a motor, build as big and strong as your budget will allow.
40x35.5 heads will do as you are using forced air, Heads make power so get the best heads you can!
