I would be thinking about the logistics at this time of the year.  Flight to Winnipeg, four hour drive maybe more if the roads are bad, vans covered in snow and been sitting on the ground.  I did many a trip looking for old vw's when I lived in Winnipeg - not pleasant this time of year.
