Empi off-on-on switch ?
« on: December 31, 2015, 12:02:52 PM »
Has anyone used the empi off-on-on switch?

I'm wondering if in on position 2 if on on 1 stays hot as well or if it's off when in the second on position? So if in on 2 that both are signal on to my relays?

I was thinking of hooking my marker lights onto "on position 1" and my headlights into "on position 2" via relays.

Thanks for any help

Cheers René

I put my gauge lights first position and second is set of spot lights
The other switch is lighted flag first position second position runs led spot light

So how do you plan on handling the high/low beam for the headlights?

High and Low beam will function over the normal column switch.
This is simply for turning them on and off but i plan on running them over a switched relay via. ACC signal. So its more to turn them off when i don't want them on all the time otherwise the Markers and Halo's will be on with Acc. via the ignition switch. Thats the idea so that they work like DRL's the switch will be normally always on. Still not sure if I will go with these as they leave a bit for ascetics and its a street car not a buggy.
