Post by: Lanny on April 02, 2018, 07:55:29 PM
Where is the wiper switch located on a 67 Bus? Same as earlier models?

yes! as per my bentley workshop manual for 63-67 transporters. it also notes, since 2 august 1965 from chassis # 216 000 001 all transporters have been fitted with a two speed windshield wiper motor and the former push/pull switch has been replaced by a rotary switch with 3 switching positions (left off, center slow, right fast).

also just for s#!ts & giggles...from thesamba.com technical section a 1967 (August 1966) Owner's Manual...

Thanks Silas. I searched online with no results.
I’m wiring up a bus with a new 66/67 harness, the wiper wiring will not reach the switch.
I suspect the wiper motor position may be the culprit.
