I am doing some patch work on my 58 fenders. What guage or thickness is best? Is it 20 guage or 9mm?
Thanks.

Best is to measure your fenders. Clean off the paint to bright metal on both sides surrounding the hole for the bumper bracket. (I think you will find the metal is .8mm) Then find some steel the same thickness.
