Title: Window Rust?
Post by: 72vwtype2 on January 26, 2005, 09:50:38 PM
Hello,

My 72 van needs to have the front window bottom corners replaced, of course that means the cab floors needs some attention. In addition the front nose could use some straightening.

Anyone have this work done?

Anyone recommend a body shop?

Thanks, Phil.

I'm just finishing a very lenghty project, I won't be taking anymore side jobs for quite a while, or unleast until my Notchback is finished. I'm not a full time bodyshop, I would recomend the other two guys already named. Ryan or Jason

I can wait a reasonable amount of time. No more than two month, but if the work is really good...then I can wait.

Let me know what you have in mind.

Thanks.

I'm still in the middle of putting my shop up then I have a bug to paint for a friend. I would like to see how bad it is. Could it be a day job? Can you weld , and just don't have access to a welder, If your local you can borrow mine for beer . Anway where I was going with this is I could be about 3 or 4 months plus I have a '70 front clip we can use to cut patches.
