Put in about two hours of sanding and polishing last night, and today about an hour and a half to mask and paint them! There is some scuffing from handling while masking so they don't look perfectly shinny yet. I think ill have to wax them to keep up the perfect polish look. Cant wait to get them ON the wagon.

Princess Auto is the short answer. Bought some steel wheels with grooved rubber on them. Had to machine the inside diameter to fit the wheels on the rims. Made a jig to hold them while they get milled. Will glue them on once everything is fit. Today I cleared over the inside potion of the tub. Wanted to keep the rusty patina look but be able to let the kids sit in it without a brown stain on their butts. Looks good. Hopefully will be done in the next week sometime.

Okay, got to it today. Been a busy week with the family getting strep to go with the holidays…. action-smiley-060  . Still have to put on the handle setup but thats for another day. had to make up the bolts that the spindle pivots on and extend some threads on the axle shafts. i also wanted to set the front wheels as close to the nose as possible and the have the rears set forward from the boot end. Im thinking I could have gone another inch forward. I wanted that BMW sedan look where the boot hangs way over the rear axle. Anyway let me know what you think, things can always be re drilled! Anyway all you guys want is to see pics right?  :cheesy:

Today's end result!

And how we got there:

Totally!!!! That thing is super badass!!!! All it needs now is a rotax motor from a shifter cart, wheelie bars, drag wing and a chute  :1rij:

Now what about that Texas brown oval you've been building.....I think I've seen one pic  :band1:

I actually have to give all the design credit to my brother, he bust his collar bone and has been of work for three months. He happens to have a Hass milling machine in his garage. When he got out of surgery I showed him my idea for the Wagon. He drew it up and did it all. Having three months away from work he had a bit of extra time on his hands. In trade for the design time he put in,  I painted his 59 last week.
