Title: Signals

my signals and hazards on my 78 westy flash so fast that they look like they are on permanent. i took all the bulbs out and cleaned them and it didn't make a differance. any suggestions?????

Change the flasher relay. The genuine VW ones work best, nice slow steady flash and a loud click so you don't look like an idiot on the freeway.

today i took all the sockets out and cleaned them, wire brushed all the grounds, i even pulled the hazard switch out to check the wires there. my signals are till flashing so fast that they hardly blink. i don't think i have a ground problem. i haven't changed the relay yet cause i keep getting told that it's a ground problem. is there anyone in the abby area that has a relay that i can use to check and see if that is the problem. i have a relay but it's at home in burnaby and i won't be there for a few more days.
