I have a dune buggy, and I was wondering if I get a new Autometer tachometer (5") mounted on the dash or steering column, would it likely be stolen? Do tach's get stolen ever? My other choice would be to get an in dash tach to replace the VDO one that I currently have which doesn't work. I'm looking at getting an Autometer tach because it's one of the only tach's that are compatible with my Mallory ignition system (without having to buy an adapter). If you have any opinions or recommendations on models of tachs, then please let me know.
