Engine Brace And Shifter
« on: April 21, 2005, 09:46:08 AM »
I have now finished the rear engine brace and it's over at Francis Andrew Site Furnishing with Russ getting powder coated. Here you can see the upper mounts in the engine bay. This is all you will see once the apron and rear tin are instaled.

The mount has urethane bushings for a solid but quiet ride.

Here's a close up of the mount.

This is the mount that I came up with. It took a good day to build it but it seems to work very well.

Here it is on the motor.

Last is the shifter, I took the orig 915 shifter box and shifter cut and lengthened the shaft to put it back in the stock location.

The trans shifts great and I cant wait to go for a spin!
