Title: Axle Problems

when going to put my wheel bearing on i fist put the inner spacer on and then i go to put the bearing on and it just wont seem to go into its housing.i took the bearing off and i noticed the axle was further out than it should be (that im not sure of)
but heres some pics has this happend to anybody here before? how did you fix it.?

You have accidentally pulled the axle out too far and the fulcrum plates have slipped behind it.  This is why you can't push it back in enough.

To fix it, you must pull off the axle tube flange retainer and slide the tube off.  Then remove the circlip that holds the thrust washer that holds the side gear in.  From there you will be able to put the fulcrum plate in the right place.
