Title: Dp Head

got a dp head with a line crack at the spark plug area about 1/8 \" long. Is that the end of it?  I can see the hair line inside the tread.

I think is garbage because of the crack?

Well, first of all, I am not DVKK.

 And the pics are pretty blurry, however for all intents and purposes, that head is junk.  You can get it welded up and machined, etc, but you can buy a new or good used head for cheaper.

Often, a weld repair like that involves reworking the valve seats and sometimes guides in addition to the spark plug hole work due to distortions caused by the weld repair process.
