Will lowered (short) shocks improve my ride?
« on: May 18, 2010, 06:16:23 PM »
Is anyone running shorter length shocks? I have a 2" narrowed adjustable beam with stock shocks and it rides pretty rough. It's not really a big deal to me but I was wondering if I could soften up the ride somehow?

Also I was thinking of installing dropped spindles to run in combo with the beam, will that make my car ride a bit better?

try adjusting your beam up a couple notches, I had this issue in my car and bus and that resolved it and it may help without raising it, and ya I lowered shock may help but i couldnt say for sure.

i have a 3" narrowed beam (lowest setting) and drop spindals (it's pretty low) and i use GR2's, and it did help , it also lowered it more when i put them in wich was a plus for me.
