Only two pictures today, Last night i instaled the 5 rib 74 trans with early bell housing (may go back to the late style so i can use the upper trans mount to help support the engine)
With the trans in place the 911 engine was bolted up so i could get a idea of what will need to be modified to make the exhaust and other things fit.

I'll be using the stock engine support bar with different mounts, here the stock mounts are shown. The muffler could be made to work but i think i will build some custom headers and exhaust so i can mout a trailor hitch.

The oil tank lines all line up and will only need some minor fitting, the hard line to the tank may be changed as it hangs a little low. Also the oil filler neck will need some mods to make filling easier.
After a good inspection most areas i thought may give trouble have turned out to not such a big deal. The CV boots look like they will just pass the heaterbox (a heat sheild may be needed there)

Next will be a custom Trans support to take the extra weight..... stay tuned!
