I tore up my front mount on Friday night (see my video of me launching and you'll see my engine flopping around).

Anyone have a preference as to which mid mount to get? Also there are weld in and non weld in types - anyone use the non weld in?

James, Go with the weld in mid mount. It's cheap and simple. There is another that has rubber mounts but you still need to weld the ears onto the frame. There is one more style that needs no welding, I have sold a few but yet to hear how well they work.

I saw the non-weld type and have been looking for feedback as well - I would prefer to use that for ease of install but will opt for a weld in if I can't find info on how well they work. (or not)

So I will be going with an airspeed weld in mid mount FYI. Stop the hop before she drops!

James,

Weld in that mid mount asap before you crack your nose cone.
