My 1957 Barn find

.......or should I say a "Garage Find". I want to thank a good friend of mine for taking "another direction" in his car building. He gave me the opportunity to re-enter the VW scene. I went to the "Japanese scene for a few years and some of you may know me by my mint green '68 Datsun pickup with the orange wheels.
I bought my friend's 1957 VW which he purchased from Washington a few years ago. It was not advertised for sale to anyone else, so it was a given to buy it. I hope to have it on the road by next summer, so we shall see!
