what carberators work well off road? Right now I have a emip pic34 that works poorly. I`m rumming a 1835cc dual port with D.S.I ignition.

all carbs should work well unless it needs rebuilding it is all in jetting if you are getting a flat spot it is from the distributor

i replaced old twin Kadron 40s for a webber 32/36 progressive 2 barrel in my long gone 1776 rail . worked great and doesnt cost an arm and leg . it will make a huge difference over your single 34 .

and I may have that set up for sale in a few months as I upgrade to more carberation for the new 1835.

Hi Jeff What cam is in that 1835? the 34 should work great with a mild cam and just jetted properly for the size and rpm difference.

are you talking about bogging when going over bumps?
If so you need to drill the float bowl vent and put a tube in it extend it 2-3" up inside the intake and that will stop a lot of the fuel slosh problems.
If it's not that then the carb needs adjusting.

the carb works great over rough roads. It only performs badly at low rmp.
