was going too show a buddy the progress pictures of my car under the memebers section on friday .but my avtar as well as the photos that were originally posted on the sambe don't show up.
not sure if its just my computer and i can't see them or have i done something wrong?
when i right click on the photo/properties -the type/corected/modified is blank.
any ideas?

try using an image file that you upload instead of a redirect from another website, many webservers and web hosting services will block that type of traffic, they can tell when you are hijacking images. So use the browse feature and upload it to airspeed's forum.

ok how do i do it , or what do i have too do .i used the browse feature too upload onto the samba.can i do it from my computer directly to the airspeed site?like i said i'm a computer loser,could you be very specific.do i need too put pictures somewhere else?i noticed on my compter that when i right click /properties i doo get a jpeg file number not sure if its any importance or not?

yes in the avatar page there is the option to list a link or just below that you can "upload" a file. Click the browse button and find the image on your computer!

ok thats making sence for my avatar.
now what about photos.
all my photo's are stored on my work computer.so if i would like too upload them to the airspeed site,would i do it like this .or is there another way?
-bring up my photos on my computer /right click on photo/properties/left click and drag across jpeg file #/ctrl-c/bring up airspeed site/new topic/click img/
ctrl-v.
would that do it?

ok changed the avatar that works-
but can't seam to load directaly from my computer. sugestions?

You have to find a place to host the files on the web then IMG from that site to the Airspeed site.
Most free picture hosting places don't allow you to do that...I know that sometimes the internet provider you are using allows you some free web space (like Shaw)

unfortunately nothing is free these days, thats why I have my own server. Airspeed forums does not accomadate for storage space. Your internet provider may allot webspace to you, then you can store the photos there and link your posts to them. Who is your internet provider?

shaw gives you 10 megs of webspace with each email account, so that is 70 megs of storage for most high speed users.

Check that out, it is pretty easy to understand.

so then you can link to an image you upload there, here is an example of what the link would have to look like.

thanks my friend ,just got off the phone with shaw and got the same info as well as created a new e mail address .so will down load my pictures at work to a disc ,then bring it home and hope too load the ones i want /need into my new account ,then upgrade my posts.once i figure that out i will defenatly be more computer smart.
