Hydraulic Clutch's

How do these install and how exactly do they work? Is the clutch/pressure plate still the same or does that need to be changed with the kit? I need to custom make a clutch cable for the new project, and thought this may be an option.

the only thing that changes is you need a hydraulic clutch pedal assembly, usually with a brake pedal and a slave cylinder that attaches to the trans and run a line between the both. more money than a cable.
