...in the feb 2011 issue of ultravw as part of the gcvws 2010 show coverage feature (just got my monthly subscription)!!!!

4 pages, LOTS of photos (9 of cars at mission alone), incredible re-cap and write up of all 3 days...it's fantastic.

a big hearty thank you to stefan szantai and the crew at ultravw!! you guys are awesome. i've been a big fan since day one and have yet to be disappointed...major kudos!!

and again a big thanks to all those involved in the show and making it what it is!

Not trying to be a jerk, but if you want magazines to actually support events and features...you gotta buy 'em. The money in magazines isn't made in subscriptions or newstand sales, but they are required to produce accurate readership numbers for advertisers...which is where they make their money.

I will never get a subscription to any magazine again, done that too many times only to be dissapointed, I will pay every month to buy it off the shelf instead if it has good content .

i have to agree with dave 100%. support the folks that support our events!! it's totally worth it!!!

plus...even tho you may live in an area that doesnt get the mag...i'm sure if you asked nicely there would be a someone here that would be able to pick it up for you!

glad marty hooked you up with a connection kevin...trust me...you need this edition in paper and in person, not a s#!tty scan from some computer...you will probably even want 2 or 3 copies (if you know what i mean...

)

again...there is great coverage in this mag...lots of pics...the herbie car, that late model bug from alberta with the subaru motor...so spread the word far and wide and tell everyone you know to buy the feb 2011 issue of ultravw!!!

Just a heads up... I went to Chapter's in Langley today, and they won't get the Feb edition of Hot VW's until early March.

And it's the same for UltraVW. They phoned the Indigo in S.Surrey for me, and it's the same for them. I'm guessing they send out to subscribers first. I know, duh... Anyway, that's all I know for now.

Yep, I checked Chapters/Indigo and they still have the December Ultra VW on the shelves, but it's always quite slow arriving in Canada. Interesting that the February Volksworld is in stock already...

There were still a few Dec/2010 issues of HotVW's and 1 Jan/2011 issue when I was there. Was it Ultra VW that was $12.95, or another one?? I didn't get that one, lol! Not cheap!

FYI - The March issue of Hot VW's is in at Chapters. The "submarine show" comment was uncalled for!
